CNB interest rates

The Board of the Czech National Bank has decided on the following interest rates effective from 6 August 2021:

  • the two-week repo rate is being raised from 0.50% to 75 % (for late-payment interests for the 2nd half of the year 2021, the rate applicable as of 1 July 2021, i.e. 0.50%, will be used),
  • the Lombard rate has been raised from 1.25 % to 75 %,  

the discount rate remains unchanged at 0.05 % (in effect from 27 March 2020)
