Increase in CNB interest rates

The Board of the Czech National Bank has decided on the following interest rates effective from 1 October 2021:

  • the two-week repo rate has been raised from 0.75 % to 1.50 %. 
  • the Lombard rate has been raised from 1.75 % to 2.50 %,   
  • and the discount rate to 0.50 %
