Financial Statements for 2024 and Top-Up TaxesTaxes, accounting, law and more. All the key news for your business.
On 28 February 2021, the Finance Ministry launched the online financial office. It should be possible to handle all of one’s tax obligations here, without needing to visit the financial office or the post office in person. All of these can be performed for example with an identity card with an activated chip (and a chip reader is required), bank identity (only at selected banks at present) or with a data box (which one needs to have established). Newly, everyone should have his personal tax calendar, where reminders can be set up for all taxes, so as not to miss anything. A practical novelty is that in one place, it is possible to find out about the tax account balance of the taxpayer, and the taxpayer can also set up reminders to notify him about any potential underpayments. Complete activation of the data box should take place within 48 hours from the first login. After that, all necessary data should be available 24 hours a day, including the option of viewing the declarations and documents already submitted.
