On 31 May 2023, the Senate approved two related bills from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs as referred by the Chamber of Deputies.

Specifically, it is a bill on extraordinary waiver and extinction of certain tax debts and a bill on extraordinary waiver of penalties on social security contributions, state employment policy contributions and enforcement costs.

President Pavel signed both bills into law yesterday. So the Tax and Insurance Merciful Summer will start on 1 July 2023 and run for 5 months until the end of October 2023. We have already informed you in detail about the specific conditions, deadlines, when and how to apply in our article here.
