ICT and Cybersecurity

The concrete focus of the ICT strategy is based on the global company-wide strategy. To ensure that ICT really effectively supports the company-wide strategy and does not become a mere “expense” reported in financial statements, it is necessary to set it up in an optimal way reflecting the needs of a company.

ICT security has lately become an increasingly discussed issue. The reason is the ever-increasing number of attacks on data and ICT structures in cyberspace, so-called cyberterrorism. It is no longer possible to ignore or accept cybersecurity risks since cyberterrorism can cause great material and reputational damage.

Any project management, not only IS/ICT project management, requires to plan, organize, monitor and check all project aspects in such a way that will ensure the achievement of the project objectives predefined based on agreed criteria. Without a capable project manager, the probability of the project’s success will be drastically diminished.

The objective of the implementation of standards in an organisation is to define the supported application architecture. The technological architecture maps identified application components to a set of technological components (HW and basic SW).
