Taxes, accounting, law and more. All the key news for your business.
At the beginning of June, in co-operation with Prague 11, we launched the www.czcovid.cz portal for free assistance to entrepreneurs. They will find information on current programmes that have been established in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, the conditions for submitting applications and instructions for completing them. If any issues remain unclear, the applicants can ask questions to be answered by our experts. The project builds on the previously operating personal advice centres and thanks to its online form, the portal can be used by entrepreneurs not only from Prague 11. Although the portal is primarily intended for companies and sole traders, there is also information for non-business entities.
"The portal aims to facilitate access to information on financial compensation related to the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We know that entrepreneurs and tradespeople have difficulties with many support programmes. For example, many of them are now contacting us in connection with the Uncovered Costs Program, which closes in mid-July," says Jiří Köhler, manager of the Advisory Team. "We regularly update the portal, so entrepreneurs do not have to worry that the information provided here is out of date," he adds.
"We have already set up an advice centre for entrepreneurs and tradesmen in Jižní Město last year. In view of its success and workload, we have decided to do something similar now, again in co-operation with the renowned Grant Thornton," says Ondřej Prokop, Prague 11's Deputy Mayor for Property, Investment and Business Support.
The www.czcovid.cz portal offers a detailed overview of all active programmes to support entrepreneurs and individuals. For each of the programmes, you will find information on important deadlines, conditions and documents required, as well as all the application forms and instructions for completing and submitting them. There are also links to other important information resources.
