The President has signed a bill abolishing the electronic record of sales. Electronic record of sales thus been definitively abolished as of 1 January 2023. The operation of the system has been terminated by the Financial Administration, even for those, who would like to voluntarily continue recording sales. Sales data sent via the sales registration system are no longer recorded by the Financial Administration. Together with the obligation to record sales, related obligations are abolished, such as issuing receipts, placing information notices, etc.
Shutting down the servers of the Financial Administration may cause incorrect functionality of the cash system. We therefore recommend that you consult your POS system supplier or IT department about the termination of EET and its impact on your business.
