The president has not signed the amendment of Act on the Value Added Tax which was supposed to transfer newspapers and magazines from the first to the second reduced rate. The draft law was returned to the Chamber of Deputies who will vote on it again. And therefore, even after 1^st January 2017, newspapers and magazines are still subject to the first reduced rate. We will keep an eye on the future developments.
