Karel Růžička is a Senior Manager and Head of Service Unit Data Management & Analysis at Grant Thornton Advisory. He specializes in the supply of large-scale transformation, IT, technology and Data Management projects for the energy, telecommunications and insurance industries. He participated in these projects in the positions of project manager, program manager, data architect, data management specialist, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
In the course of his practice, he has gained experience mainly due to his eight years of work at Deloitte Advisory. As Senior Manager, he was responsible for the delivery of data management projects for the energy sector. In his previous job, he was a program manager for Business Intelligence, SAP and portal solutions supplied to O2. At Česká pojišťovna, he was the project manager for data migration of the core system of the insurance company and as the head of the reporting and data analysis department, he participated in building a new corporate BI solution.
He has been in consulting for 13 years and has more than 25 years of professional experience in IT. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He graduated in Technical Cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. He speaks Czech, English, German and Russian.
