Petr has been working as a waste management specialist at Grant Thornton. He has more than 16 years of experience working with waste in the Czech Republic and abroad, optimizing waste management and generating savings of many millions.
As an environmental specialist, he assessed, among other things, the decommissioning of power plants for EPH Group, including disposal of more than 100,000 tonnes of various types of waste. As CEO of several subsidiaries of the AVE Group, he was in charge of all waste management of these companies, subsequent restructuring and mergers. At the Italian branch, he managed the project of decommissioning a 680 MW power plant. Petr has extensive experience in selling waste across Europe, including cross-border shipments, and has managed many acquisition projects.
Petr graduated from the Institute of Legal Studies Prague, majoring in General Management. He also studied General Law at the Institute of Legal Studies in Prague.
