Václav Buriánek has been working at Grant Thornton Czech Republic as an auditor since 2017. He specialises in audit of production, trading and leasing companies, transformation of financial statements compiled according to the IFRS or other international accounting standards and consolidation.
The audit department, of which he is a member, performs approximately 120 audits per year. All are performed according to International Standards on Auditing including approximately 60 transformations performed under German or Austrian law, IFRS and US-GAAP. During his previous audit work, he provided his services to a number of significant Czech and international clients and performed countless special audits and due diligence engagements. He is a member of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic.
He has been working in audit for 19 years. He graduated from the Prague University of Economics. He speaks Czech and English.
