Veronika Odrobinová and Barbora Nohýnková have been awarded for their exceptional professional results, which once again showed that women have an irreplaceable place in business. We congratulate Veronika and Bára, wish them further professional success and thank them for representing our company and the expertise that the Grant Thornton brand stands for.
Veronika Odrobinová, a partner in the Legal team, has joined the star network of Czech employment law as part of the project #PRVNÍCH100LET (#THE FIRST100YEARS, of Women in Law). Veronika is a founding partner of GT Legal and a long-recognized expert in her field. This award is a further confirmation of her contribution not only to the company but also to the legal community.
This is already the fourth list of elite Czech business women lawyers brought by the project #PRVNÍCH100LET in cooperation with the weekly Euro. This year’s list includes a total of 78 women attorneys across nine categories. Veronika has already won this award in the labour law category several times. This year, she has been included in the All-Star group, which includes long-respected women attorneys, not just on the local level. This group will no longer be included in future editions of the survey, which means that new names are included every year. You can find out more about the award here and see the full list of women included here.
Barbora Nohýnková from Appraisal team has been added to the list of 131 inspiring women in finance. Bára has been working at Grant Thornton since 2007. As an expert witness, she deals with the valuation of business plants, intangible assets and the preparation of reports for litigation.
“When litigating, it is necessary to consider all the different possibilities. Personally, I do not know many experts of Bára’s quality,” says Tomáš Brabenec.
The third edition of the survey, compiled by the project #FinŽeny and published exclusively by the daily E15, includes not only progressive women from the Czech financial sector and exceptional managers, but also renowned experts from banks, insurance companies, investment funds and other companies. The financial institutions themselves also cooperated on the preparation and their selection was complemented by public nominations on the project website. This year, successful women in finance were divided into ten categories. Bára was included in the category of economic analysis and financial management. You can learn more about the award here.
