Andrea Klimešová is a Manager at Grant Thornton and part of the Energy Advisory team. She focuses on projects in energy trading and procurement, business development, energy flexibility, support services for electricity transmission system operators and electricity system development. She specializes in business analysis, risk management, controlling and financing from European subsidies.
She started her professional career at RWE Transgas as an analyst in the gas purchasing department. She then worked at MND as a portfolio manager responsible for managing wholesale gas procurement and sales. She gained further extensive experience in the E.ON Group, where she worked in various positions ranging from energy procurement, risk management, controlling and pricing. Most recently, she has focused on energy flexibility and support services for electricity transmission system operators in the Nano Energies group. She has been working in the energy sector for 18 years.
She is a graduate of the Charles University in Prague. She is fluent in English.
